Heh.

And because of Pokémon Go, everyone is sick to death of these things.

Reply Surfersquid, September 1st, 2016, 10:09 am

@Nashew: You can never have too many Pidgeys!!! :P

@Surfersquid:
My sister used it when I wasn't looking and now I have about fifty. :p

Edit: fourty seven, just counted.

Reply Surfersquid, September 1st, 2016, 3:03 pm

@Guest: ... Okay, maybe you CAN have too many Pidgeys. ... But hey, at least that's plenty of experience and Stardust!

Reply ReaderWriterNerd&Geek (Guest), September 1st, 2016, 4:36 pm

Falkner has a lot to live up to, what with taking over from his dad and all. He talks big to hide his massive insecurities. *nodnod*

Still, never say "magnificent" and then send out a Pidgey. Ever.

Reply Surfersquid, September 1st, 2016, 4:51 pm

@ReaderWriterNerd&Geek: Makes sense!

And yes... no offense to Pidgeys, but I don't think they could ever be described as "magnificent" even if they tried.

Reply ReaderWriterNerd&Geek (Guest), September 1st, 2016, 7:30 pm

@Surfersquid: No, I don't think they could. XD Pidgeot, now...

Reply Surfersquid, September 1st, 2016, 7:33 pm

@ReaderWriterNerd&Geek: Yes, Pidgeot is quite majestic. Pidgeotto could probably even pull off "magnificent" if it wanted to.

But Pidgey...

... I'm sorry Pidgey, it just doesn't work. Keep being cute and derpy.

Reply ReaderWriterNerd&Geek (Guest), September 5th, 2016, 8:56 am

@Surfersquid: Pidgeotto seems, to me, like it's in the awkward teenager stage where it *thinks* it looks magnificent but usually doesn't. XD And yeah, Pidgey, we love you cute. Stay that way.

Reply Surfersquid, September 5th, 2016, 10:28 am

@ReaderWriterNerd&Geek: Hehe, now I will always think of intermediate evolutions as awkward teenagers.

Reply ReaderWriterNerd&Geek (Guest), September 5th, 2016, 11:07 am

@Surfersquid: Welcome to the club, lol.

Reply WiispNightmare, September 6th, 2016, 6:54 am

@Surfersquid: Pidgey could totally be magnificent.
All you need is a pose and some background lighting and you can have your magnificence.

Reply Surfersquid, September 6th, 2016, 10:51 am

@WiispNightmare: So, the second panel of this comic?

Reply WiispNightmare, September 8th, 2016, 7:02 am

@Surfersquid: No, that doesn't have a magnificent pose in the way we are defining magnificent.
The Pidgey must WANT to be magnificent
This one is clearly not the right material.

Reply Surfersquid, September 8th, 2016, 9:48 am

@WiispNightmare: Ah, that's true. I'm sure there's some hardcore Pidgey out there somewhere.

Reply WiispNightmare, September 8th, 2016, 2:17 pm

@Surfersquid: It's been training night and day to be in the top percentage of Pidgey.

Reply Surfersquid, September 8th, 2016, 2:18 pm

@WiispNightmare: Youngster Joey would be proud.

Reply WiispNightmare, September 8th, 2016, 2:36 pm

@Surfersquid: *attempts to keep a serious face*
*fails*

Reply Sanji (Guest), September 6th, 2016, 3:38 pm

@WiispNightmare: Yeah, magnificently cute! X3

..Is that even a word?

Reply Surfersquid, September 6th, 2016, 3:51 pm

@Sanji: It is now!

Reply Sanji (Guest), September 6th, 2016, 11:14 pm

@Surfersquid: Yay!

Reply Sanji (Guest), September 6th, 2016, 3:37 pm

Gotta' love it when Gym Leaders use common wild pokemon. 8'D

Reply Surfersquid, September 6th, 2016, 3:50 pm

@Sanji: It really makes me wonder how he even got qualified to run a Gym in the first place. Unless it's just that his dad used to be the Gym Leader. Isn't that nepotism?

Reply Sanji (Guest), September 6th, 2016, 11:13 pm

@Surfersquid: I would consider that, but alot of other beginning gym leaders across other gens use common pokemon too.

Reply Surfersquid, September 6th, 2016, 11:18 pm

@Sanji: That's true. It's probably just that they want to be fair to beginning trainers trying for their first badge. Still, it amuses me that they tend to talk so tough. Maybe so you'll feel really accomplished when you beat them?
