As do most NPCs.

By the way, how would you guys feel about this comic updating slightly more frequently? Say, three days a week? The idea was suggested to me and I wanted to get your input as I consider it.

I would love that, so long as it doesn't put undue strain on you. What you can do is work up a buffer on your current schedule and THEN bring it to 3 days a week, so if something happens you won't have to stress as much.

@Eternal Cry: That's a good idea. Right now I'm trying to figure out my projected workload to see if upping the update frequency will be feasible by the time my current buffer runs out. I'm also currently running around doing a bunch of other stuff that makes me really thankful I have a buffer.

I guess if worst comes to worst, I can try updating more frequently for a bit and switch back if it proves to be too much.

Surfersquid Captured FAN! (Is that right? I haven't captured a Pokemon in a while...I've caught almost all the wild ones...anyway...)

I love this comic!! You've managed to make me burst out laughing numerous times, which is pretty awesome. I think my favorite bits so far have been all the lampooning of Team Rocket. And when Professor Oak just pops out of the floor. And you and I seem to share the same taste in starters - I chose a Squirtle for my red, and if I ever play Gold or Silver (or Crystal) I think I'd like a Chikorita. I basically just go by whatever I've always liked best, regardless of whether it works or not. XD

Anyhow, I would also be cool with a more frequent update schedule, but don't strain yourself. :) Keep writing!

P.S. That guy under the tree must read a lot.

@ReaderWriterNerd&Geek: Aww, thanks so much for your kind words! I'm so glad you like the comic! Bahaha Team Rocket is so fun to deconstruct. And I'm surprised by how much of a breakout hit Oak's become. I always pick the starter I like best, too. :)

I hope you continue to enjoy this project!

@Surfersquid: You're welcome! I was so happy to find a purely Pokemon comic that was light-hearted and silly and updating regularly, so, thank you. XD And yes, yes they are. I think my all-time favorite comic has to be when the player has just "fought" past all the Rockets, gets to Giovanni, and he says, "So, I am impressed that you made it this far!" And she looks back over her shoulder ("What is the meaning of life?" "When you fill out a form, always say it was an 'accident'."), and goes, "Are you really?" "No..." LOL.

Yeah, Oak is hilarious in a really disturbing kinda way. Another thing I like about this comic is that (unless I'm forgetting something) I don't feel like I should close it when my little sister comes to read over my shoulder (as she will when she hears the word "Pokemon"). I mean, Oak is quite psychotic, but in a humorous way, and there's nothing vulgar or gory in the comic, so, points for that! :)

@ReaderWriterNerd&Geek: It's good to know I'm filling a niche. :) Glad you liked that one! I just had so much fun in Silph Co. that I couldn't resist the urge to take a parting shot at the most incompetent criminal organization to ever exist. I'm hoping Team Rocket's appearance in Gen II will give me plenty of material to work with as well.

I'm glad your sister is enjoying the comic, too! Yeah, psychotic Oak is about as dark as this comic's going to get--it'll always be family-friendly. :)

@Surfersquid: Oh, good, on both counts. :)

Pretty sure I'm an NPC in that case.
